Mavi Marmara , wherever it is in the world who has been victimized by war and natural disasters; was established in order to deliver the necessary humanitarian aid to all people who were injured, crippled, starved or exposed, and to take necessary steps to ensure that the fundamental rights and freedoms of these people are not violated. On May 31, 2010, the Mavi Marmara in the Gaza Freedom Flotilla, which set out to deliver humanitarian aid to the Palestinian people under the blockade in Gaza, killed 10 humanitarian aid volunteers attacked by the occupying State of Israel and prevented humanitarian aid from reaching to Gaza.
Mavi Marmara Freedom and Solidarity Association, which was established 6 months after the return of the fleet, was established with the aim of providing material and moral support to people who have been victims of wars, occupations, injustices and natural disasters all over the world, including seriously injured passengers in the fleet.
We aim to engage in all civil society activities aimed at raising awareness for societies deprived of their basic human rights and freedoms, in order to enable individuals to regain their freedom, to reveal the injustices committed and to ensure the elimination of these injustices.
We are trying to carry out humanitarian aid activities in order to provide humanitarian aid to people who have been victimized by people or due to natural disasters and wars, to help them survive, to help our children receive education, to prepare young people for the future, and to ensure that they live humanely.
