Chairman of the Yeniden Refah Party M. Fatih Erbakan paid a visit to the Mavi Marmara Freedom and Solidarity Association, which keeps alive the memory of the Mavi Marmara Ship, which was hit as a result of a treacherous attack by the Israeli occupation forces in 2010.

In 2010, about 600 humanitarian aid volunteers from 36 countries of the world set out to break the embargo in Gaza. As a result of the treacherous attack of the Israeli occupation forces, 10 of our citizens were martyred and 57 of our citizens were seriously injured. The Mavi Marmara Ship and its Association, of which the deceased Erbakan was the biggest supporter at that time, was not forgotten by Fatih Erbakan.

 

Association President Beheşti İsmail Songür made statements about the region by explaining that the blockade in Gaza still continues and the Palestinian problem is getting worse.
