Fahri Yaldız
Fahri Yaldız stated in the fleet participation form that he could help with electricity, search and rescue and fire brigade. Born in 1967 in Besni-Basli village of Adıyaman, Fahri Yaldız was the eldest of five brothers. Fahri Yaldız, who lost his father at a young age, took responsibility for his family and worked from an early age to take care of his mother and siblings. Growing up as an orphan, Yaldız joined the aid flotilla to bring aid to orphans in Palestine. Fahri Yaldız, who worked as a firefighter in Adıyaman Municipality, was the owner of a small-scale kadayif and dough dough factory. Using some of the income from his workshop for charity, Yaldız organized a bazaar in Adıyaman to support the "Our Route is Palestine, Our Load is Humanitarian Aid" campaign organized by IHH and joined the fleet by collecting the donations of benevolent citizens. While being sent off from Adıyaman to Antalya, he asked his mother to hug him tightly before getting on the bus and said, "Give me your blessings!" he had left. Fahri Yaldız, who lost his life in the attack on the Mavi Marmara ship in Israel's humanitarian aid fleet, left four sons behind.
